Safe, Medical-Grade Ear Piercing for Infants and Children.

  • Ear piercing is available to children 4 months of age or older. We use the Blomdahl Medical Ear Piercing System, a sterile system designed specifically for use by healthcare professionals.


  • Medical-grade plastic piercing studs are used, which helps eliminate the risk of nickel allergy.


  • After about 10 months of age, infants and toddlers are more likely to touch or pull at their earrings, which may increase the risk of irritation or infection.


  • For infants and young children, we only pierce the earlobes. Cartilage piercings are available for individuals aged 15 years and older. 


  • We cannot place two piercings immediately next to each other during the same visit, as this can affect accurate placement and proper healing.


  • Both ears are pierced at the same time making the process quick and minimizing discomfort.
